• Advanced Techniques: Master sophisticated sports massage and soft tissue techniques to effectively treat various musculoskeletal issues.  Our techniques include Trigger Point Therapy, Soft Tissue Release, Soft Tissue Mobilisation, Peripheral Joint Mobilisations, and Muscle Energy Techniques.  We also include two days of Advanced Myofascial Release for postural restructuring.

• In-Depth Knowledge: Gain a thorough understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics to provide high-quality care.

• Anatomy, Physiology, and Pathology: Deepen your understanding of the human body, and human health,  to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

• Sports Massage Techniques: We include sports event massage, as well as sports maintenance massage techniques to allow you to offer your services in a clinical, as well as sporting setting.

• Soft Tissue Techniques: Learn advanced methods for assessing and treating sports, activity, and posture-related injuries.

• Soft Tissue Dysfunction: Develop the ability to effectively identify and address various soft tissue issues.

• Sport & Activity Rehabilitation:  Learn how to effectively rehabilitate your clients after injury.

• Gait Analysis: Learn how to assess and treat individuals with conditions and dysfunctions affecting their ability to walk.

• Therapeutic Modalities:  We include kinesiology and athletic taping, plus ultrasound and electrotherapy so that you can offer a wider range of treatments.

Course Pre-requisites

To join this course you will need to have completed a Level 3 Sports Massage qualification or attend the access course dates below.

Course Certifications

If you attend the access course, upon successful completion, including the assignments, assessments and case studies, you will receive the AHG Level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy (Vocational Certificate), which will enable you to obtain insurance and charge for sports massage treatments whilst also studying for the Level 5 modules.   Mid-way through the course, you will also be assessed for the VTCT Level 4 Certificate in Sports Massage Therapy (RQF Ofqual Regulated)** which means you can then upgrade your insurance to work at Level 4 whilst completing your Level 5 modules.

Upon successful completion of all modules, assignments, assessments, and case studies, you will receive three additional certifications:

AHG Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Soft Tissue Therapy (Vocational Certificate)

TQUK Advanced Diploma in Sports Therapy & Rehabilitation (Level 5 Endorsed Course)

VTCT Level 5 Certificate in Sports Massage Therapy (RQF Ofqual Regulated)**
