Health coaching is a type of coaching that focuses on promoting health and wellness by helping individuals make positive changes in their lifestyle, habits, and attitudes. Health coaches work with clients to identify their health goals, develop personalised action plans, and provide ongoing support and guidance to help them achieve their goals.
The ultimate goal of health coaching is to empower individuals to take control of their health and well-being and make sustainable changes that lead to improved physical, mental, and emotional health. Health coaching may encompass a wide range of topics, including diet, exercise, stress management, sleep hygiene, and relationship with food, among others. It is a holistic and supportive approach to promoting health and wellness.
Right now Health & Nutrition Coaches are in high demand. This isn't marketing hype, this is fact. We have been running Therapy, Health and Wellness courses for 23 years now, and our graduates who have taken their businesses online are the ones that are thriving the most in a time when more people are staying home, and worrying about their health!
There are no entry requirements, however, you will need to have access to a PC or Laptop, with PDF Reader and Word.
We currently offer a Level 3 Health Coaching course which is accredited by Royal Society for Public Health. Upon successful completion you will be eligible to join the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH).
Our next level of course is the Level 5 Integrative Health and Nutrition Coaching, which is our most popular course. This course is endorsed by TQUK and approved by the UK & International Health Coaches Association (UKIHCA).
Our highest level course is the Level 6 in Health Coaching and Nutritional Therapy. Upon successful completion, you will be able to join the Federation of Therapy Practitioners (FNTP). You will be a fully certified Health Coach, and also a Nutritional Therapist, so you can work autonomously in both fields.
With all our coaching courses you can also join the Association for Coaches, the IICT, and IPHM. IPHM and IICT offer international accreditation, so our certification is recognised in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, EU, and Asia.
Our courses are fully online, via e-books, audio, video, and webinars, and are designed to be studied for approximately 6 to 8 hours per week, though you can work through them at your own pace. The courses are assessed throughout via workbook exercises, multi-choice assignments, and case studies that you will record. We give you examples of 'live' coaching sessions, and you can also volunteer to be a 'coachee', and experience coaching sessions (which will also be recorded). You can also get the chance to be a supervised case study for a fellow student.
We have our members/student-only site where you can interact with tutors, mentors, and other students.
